Toning My Scalp Helped Cure My Dandruff
As much as I love getting my hair done, I dread every single time I sit in a hair stylist's chair. You see, I'm self conscious about my dry scalp. Dandruff. Flakes. Whatever you call it, it has afflicted me my whole life. I cringe every time a stylist starts brushing out my hair, shameful of the light snowfall that will come from my scalp as soon as they start brushing. I can't escape: If my hair is being styled up, flakes show up right above my ear. If my hair is being styled with a center part, the bits of dust are really obvious against my dark strands. Here's how I use it: After thoroughly cleansing and conditioning my hair, I spritz the formula directly on my scalp—not the hair—in sections. I massage it in, enjoy the refreshing tingly feeling, and throw up my hair in my favorite Volo microfiber hair towel while I apply makeup. That's it. I've been doing it for three weeks now and noticed a major difference in how healthy my scalp is. It not only visibly reduced flakes, but also got rid of itchiness and irritation.
