Rihanna's Savage x Fenty Show Picks Up Where Victoria's Secret Left Off

I want to be upset at Rihanna for not giving us an album in nearly four years—I really do. But there's no way one can stay mad at Rihanna when she's been committed to blessing us with gifts at every turn. Her latest gift, the second Savage x Fenty show, might be the greatest gift yet.

Tonight, September 10, Savage x Fenty returned to New York to debut its newest collection. In the weeks leading up to tonight's show, Rihanna announced that the Savage x Fenty show will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime on September 20, teasing that the presentation will be "bigger and badder." Early yesterday, a lengthy press release from Savage x Fenty arrived in our inboxes revealing who and what would be delivering the "bigger and badder" fashion show.

Those who made the trek to Brooklyn's Barclay's Center were glad that they did. The show was a tour de force, a work of art, and a challenge to brands who must now come up with ways to top it. But what made the show truly "bigger and badder" was Rihanna's creation of a world where body types of all sizes and even ability (at one point a double amputee model took the spotlight) are equally—undeniably—sexy. Sorry, Angels, your time is up. Here's what you can expect from the Savage x Fenty show when it live streams next week.

It was a live concert.

When Rihanna calls, you answer—no questions asked. To help her celebrate Savage x Fenty's new collection, Rihanna enlisted her favorite artists: Halsey, Migos, DJ Khaled, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Fat Joe, Fabolous, and Tierra Whack. Normani made an appearance starring in her own dance portion.

Your favorite models weren't the only ones walking the Savage x Fenty runway.

Last year, the Savage x Fenty show featured models Gigi and Bella Hadid, Slick Woods, Leomie Anderson, Paloma Elsesser and more showcasing Savage x Fenty looks on the runway. This year, Rihanna invited actors, dancers, and other models to join the Savage crew, including rappers 21 Savage and Christian Combs, models Alek Wek, Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls, Laverne Cox, and plenty more.

You can finally shop Savage x Fenty on Amazon.

Rihanna loves us so much that she also made Savage x Fenty available to shop Amazon Prime—and it's 30 percent off.

No phones were allowed.

Rihanna and Amazon asked attendees to place their phones in a locked case that they then held onto until the show was over. The extra security measure was taken to prevent any leaks or video footage from the event. Only select photographers were allowed to shoot the red carpet arrivals and none were allowed inside the show once it began. No phones meant zero distractions and more privacy for the celebrities in the crowd. Kacey Musgraves, Diplo, Lisa Rinna and her daughters, Luka Sabbatt and many others were all there.
